Form Plays

A form play explores personal narrative through a well-known form.

What's a form?
A form is a way of conveying information. Below are some examples of forms:
  • Sonnet
  • Town Hall
  • Eulogy
  • Advertisement
  • Lecture
  • Tweet
  • Make-up Tutorial
  • Miranda Rights
  • Etc.
Once you've picked your form, you would use the structure of that form and things associated with that form to help create and inform your play. Think of the fine details to really help place the audience into your form.
